Each year, we come together to support a charity that makes a meaningful difference in our local community. In 2025, we were proud to partner with Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, an organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people.
The charity funds vital equipment, research, technology and enhancements to the hospital environment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital – a leading specialist paediatric centre that cares for more than 100,000 children and young people from across the UK every year.
Fundraising plays a crucial role in improving patient spaces, facilities and the overall care experience for patients and their families. Thanks to the energy and generosity of our team, we raised £3,896 through a range of initiatives, including our Dragon Boat Race in September.
Building on this momentum, we’re proud to be supporting another local cause in 2026: the Matt Gallagher Foundation. Established after former rugby player Matt Gallagher was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in October 2023, the foundation supports people living with MND and their families across the West Midlands.
The charity raises both funds and awareness, providing practical support through grants for household costs, specialist equipment, home adaptations and quality-of-life services. It also helps individuals navigate statutory funding and access additional forms of support.
We look forward to spending the year raising vital funds for this inspiring charity. A huge thank you to our JPCT team for their continued commitment and enthusiasm in helping us make a difference to important local causes.
