After 2015’s Corporate Website and Brand transformation, Picton’s 2016 Annual Report included an evolution of the brand. Partnering with Picton, we looked to further understand and embed their key principles and traits of Occupier Focused and Opportunity Led.

Using this information, and following discussions with the team, wireframes and pagination plans were created for the report to highlight Picton’s story in a consistent manner. These plans helped to ensure that all content was cohesive and served to further evolve and mature their brand. This forward planning, and understanding of their values allows Picton to create cohesion through all their corporate communications, tone of voice and marketing collateral.

The evolution of the cover design and key spreads helped to revamp the aesthetics of all communications and further develop the brand book, linking the design elements back to the company’s key values.

The report was enhanced through strong property imagery, introduced to create a consistent tone within all communications. Colour coding and signposting were used in the report to ensure that all EPRA performance measures were able to be located easily.

The final project encompassed a suite of media that included the Annual Report of Picton and Picton ZDP, refreshing the content of their corporate website, introducing newsfeeds ‘Picton Posts’, growing the brand identity, photography, PowerPoint presentations and quarterly shareholder newsletters. A further phase will focus on completing their comprehensive brand book.

The Annual Report was awarded a Gold EPRA and a Gold Award for Best Corporate website - Small Cap/AIM’ category in The Corporate & Financial Awards 2016.
