We are looking for a bright and passionate graduate web developer with an eye for detail and a flair for creative solutions to join our digital team.

To succeed in this role you will have a strong understanding of web development and proven key skills such as developing websites in HTML and CSS and using CMS systems, either as part of an academic course or industry experience. You will be a good communicator, excellent team player, and possess a passion for new challenges and learning new skills.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To develop new websites for our clients within Umbraco CMS using technologies such as Visual Studio, including C# and .NET razor syntax.
  • To carry out essential testing and quality assurance of new functionality.
  • To liaise with other teams in the business to plan, analyse requirements and deliver effective solutions to complicated problems.
  • Knowledge of various CSS frameworks including Bootstrap

Required skills

  • Core web development skills, including HTML and CSS
  • Experience building websites using a CMS platform
  • Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser testing 
  • Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as C#
  • Excellent attention to detail

Desirable skills

  • SQL knowledge
  • Some JavaScript knowledge (ideally using frameworks such as jQuery)
  • Object-oriented programming knowledge
