Main duties and responsibilities
To liaise with other teams around the business including digital designers and research consultants to understand requirements and ensure the final product delivers the intended message.
To communicate with clients in a professional manner and offer advice and support as well as assisting clients by carrying out ad-hoc amends and updates to existing websites.
To carry out essential testing of websites and new features. This includes cross-browser testing as well as testing on a variety of devices ensuring everything works as intended and delivers a consistent user experience.
To work collaboratively with the team by both offering and seeking support, advice and insight in order to make every product we create better than its predecessor.
Eye and passion for detail
Good understanding of developing responsive websites and experience carrying out cross-browser as well as cross-platform testing
A creative flair and passion for digital design
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan your own work effectively and prioritise your workload
Good understanding of key design principles such as typography and layout
Experience using latest CSS3 concepts such as keyframes, transforms and advanced layout features
Some knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
Some insight into CSS preprocessors such as less or sass
