360 Degree Videos

Facebook launched 360° videos earlier this year, providing viewers with an immersive experience that allows them to physically move and turn their devices on mobile, or use the cursor on desktop, to see all angles of the video.

Adapting and building on the increasing use and consumption of video content, 360° videos encourage viewers to have an even greater interaction with brands. They provide the option for brands to connect and interact with their customers. It also provides an option to keep these customers up to date with what the company is doing in a fun and interactive way. After several high profile companies and institutions started to use the site to launch new products - such as the new Star Wars movie and BMW - these videos have proven popular with an increasingly mobile audience.

Brands can use 360° videos in a number of ways. They can be used to communicate, educate or provide insights. The exciting thing is that you can experiment and think of creative ways to portray your products and services, or just create a connection to your audience. An example of this can be seen with Barbour, who recently provided fans with access to one of their shows.
