  • James Houston

    Managing Director

    James Houston

    James holds a BA (Hons) and a Certificate as well as a Diploma in Management and an MBA.

    As a passionate strategic leader, James is Managing Director of Jones and Palmer and enjoys an active role in the planning stages of our clients' corporate reporting projects. Advocating an outside-in approach to establishing key investor messages, he has 20 years experience of corporate reporting across FTSE 100, 250, and small cap businesses.

    He also has experience of start-ups and merger activity in the media sector.

  • Steve Tolley


    Steve Tolley

    Steve has worked in the technology side of the print and publishing industries for most of his life and has a strong understanding of media production from print through to contemporary internet technologies.

    Steve's interest in corporate reporting is leveraged through being a qualified programmer as well as having studied broad areas of business and finance. Steve has a passionate interest in business/financial strategy, corporate governance and technological change management.

    Whilst working in the corporate reporting arena, he has completed a certificate and diploma in management, a postgraduate certificate in technology management, an MBA and an MSc (International Finance and Management). As a Director of Jones and Palmer, Steve has a range of responsibilities, but in particular loves working in the areas of strategy, training, consulting, product development, sales and marketing.

    He has two amazing children and obviously the most understanding wife in the world! Passionate about motorbikes (he has a BMW K1300GT for the bikers out there), skiing, music and a wide selection of (very) ambitious DIY projects. One of his favourite pieces of writing is Desiderata.

  • Will Morgan-Harrold

    Creative and Brand Development Director

    Will Morgan-Harrold

    Will holds a BA (Hons) from Coventry University and a professional certificate in management. Joining us in 2015, he has over 10 years’ experience working both client and agency-side creating, developing and executing brand, corporate communications and advertising.

    He has a proven track record of producing effective, award-winning strategic communications, and brand solutions, having consulted and assisted with the development of UK and global brands.

    Will leads our Creative and brand team, delivering all creative corporate communications and corporate brand development.

    As a member of the Senior Management Team, Will contributes to Jones and Palmer’s strategy and long-term growth plans.

  • Jim Robinson

    Director of Corporate Messaging

    Jim Robinson

    Jim heads up the Investor Relations team here at Jones and Palmer. He is a graduate of Graphic Design, Graphic Communication, has a Professional Certificate in Management, and a Business Studies Diploma (part of his current MBA journey).

    As an Investor Relations specialist, Jim has extensive experience and knowledge in the specific demands of corporate financial reporting and has worked with a large number of small, medium and large listed companies including a number of FTSE 100 and 250 businesses.

    During his 18 years at Jones and Palmer, Jim has been heavily involved in corporate reporting, PLC Annual Report projects, corporate branding and web-based projects. He has extensive hands-on expertise in both online and printed media – everything from content generation, messaging, design/concept, digital build, print manufacture, through to completion and realisation. Many of Jim’s clients and communications projects have won multiple industry awards.

    In 2010 Jim joined the Board of Directors at Jones and Palmer, with his main responsibility being to develop the businesses ability to realise the communications potential of our clients.

    During his time at Jones and Palmer, he has been focused on helping clients communicate value and demonstrate good corporate governance through print, interactive online media and video.

  • Steve O'Brien

    Manufacturing and HR Director

    Steve O'Brien

    Stephen has worked in the print manufacturing industry for over 32 years and has a full understanding of the technology currently being used, but the learning never stops.

    Stephen's main aim is to ensure that the required standards are being produced across all aspects of the business to ensure client jobs are delivered timely across all forms of media.

    Give him what you want to be delivered and he will make sure it is completed in a timely and professional manner.

  • Heidi Hill


    Heidi Hill

    Having joined the Sales and Marketing team in 2000, Heidi is currently responsible for our team of consultants (known as the Think team). The Think team are here to make business understandable for all stakeholders and do this through memorable corporate storytelling. Heidi also enjoys being part of the Management team as well as on the Board of Directors.

    She shares a passion for implementing our mission and driving our strategy to ensure the long term sustainability of Jones and Palmer. As the business continues to progress, Heidi has a keen interest in seeing how our purpose-led culture evolves with it.

    Heidi views herself as a work in progress and tries to focus on continuous learning and self-reflection. Outside of work, she is a devoted wife (not sure what her husband would say!), a full-time mother of 2 angelic (hmmm... sometimes!) girls. The most important things to her are her family, faith and friends.

  • Mike Hill

    Quality Director

    Mike Hill

    Having over 30 years experience within the industry, Mike is responsible for overseeing Quality and Continuous Improvement within Jones and Palmer. As well as ensuring we meet and retain our ISO9001 credentials, he specialises in workflows and systems to help deliver bespoke solutions for our various customer challenges.

    On a personal level, he will be found either at the side of a football pitch or off on a run somewhere preparing for his next ultramarathon.

  • Mike Jones

    Studio Supervisor

    Mike Jones

    Having spent over 20 years working within the design industry Mike has a wealth of knowledge and experience that helps support all areas of the business. Mike has been an integral part of JP for the past 10 years having joined us as a Senior Designer before moving into managing the resources and project flow through the Studio.

    Mike holds both a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design and a National Diploma in Graphic Design. He has also completed a Professional Certificate in Management.

    He is responsible for the Trafficking of all projects through the Studio and managing resources accordingly, and works tirelessly to support all departments, solving problems, mucking in when the going gets tough and bringing humour and laughter to all situations.

  • Naomi Maher

    Account Director

    Naomi Maher

    Naomi graduated from Cardiff University with a 2.1 in Medieval History and Archaeology. This research-based degree provided a strong basis for Naomi's first role as a consultant when she joined Jones and Palmer in 2016.

    Having since gained the Certificate in Investor Relations, Naomi has a strong track record in consulting on award-winning projects across a range of clients.

    Naomi is now one of our Account Directors, using her knowledge and experience gained as a consultant to ensure the delivery of a successful project across all corporate communication mediums.

    As a member of the sales team, Naomi deals with the commercials of the projects and ensures that her clients are as happy as they can be throughout the duration of the project.

  • Nick Christopher

    Commercial Director

    Nick Christopher

    Nick holds an MBA from Cardiff University specialising in Corporate Governance, Strategy and Corporate Finance. Nick also holds the Certificate in Investor Relations.

    Nick originally joined us as a consultant and has worked with many of our clients on their corporate messaging. In addition to Corporate Communications, Nick is also experienced within Corporate Brand Development.

    As Commercial Director, Nick is responsible for the successful delivery and consultancy of many of our clients’ projects.

  • Natalie Tiernan

    Marketing Manager

    Natalie Tiernan

    Natalie holds a BA (Hons) from Teesside University in Media Studies and has studied for both the Certificate in Management and Certificate in Investor Relations since joining the company in 2011.

    Natalie leads our Marketing and New Business team and is responsible for amplifying our messaging and promoting our services to a number of audiences. She is responsible for our digital outputs including the website and our social channels and works with our Thought Leadership team to share our knowledge and expertise with the wider market.

    She is also responsible for ensuring we gain feedback from our clients to ensure that we are always providing a high level of service and making sure we help make their business understandable.

  • Catherine Joyce

    Communications Consultant

    Catherine Joyce

    Catherine has worked for over 3 years at Jones and Palmer solving clients' communications challenges through investor relations communications.

    Her responsibilities include reviewing Annual Reports and corporate websites, producing wireframes for investor relations communications, researching trends in reporting, developments in legislation, and best practice.

    Catherine is also responsible for producing thought-leadership articles and guides.

  • Giles Halton

    Senior Brand Designer

    Giles Halton

    Giles is a branding expert with over 12 years experience of working with global companies such as Toyota, Emirates, KPMG, Coca-Cola, PSA, Boots, Institute of Directors, and the Duchy of Cornwall.

    He has worked extensively across a wide range of sectors and disciplines, including advertising, marketing, digital engagement, and annual reporting.

    As Senior Brand Designer, Giles is responsible for the creation and development of new and existing brands covering all aspects of the client’s requirements.

  • Colin Shephard

    Business Development Executive

    Colin Shephard

    Colin has been working at Jones and Palmer for 12 years. With a background in the print industry and in particular, production and account management. In more recent years he has moved into business development and is most likely the first friendly voice you will hear.

    Working closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams, he is always on hand to deal with your enquiries and if he cannot help, he always knows someone who can.
