Case Study
The challenge for our first project with Premier Foods plc was to enhance the information related to business and performance, whilst presenting this in a more intuitive and user-friendly way. We worked together with the team at Premier Foods providing strategic advice on how to convey the right messages consistently across both the printed and online annual reports.
Throughout this project, it was important that critical content was included whilst maintaining the integrity of the chosen design and a number of design challenges required resolution. Colour coded navigation was used to clearly divide each section of the report to aid usability and the ‘About our business’ section used a clear graphic to explain the business categories and brands. The governance section was also enhanced to make it more user-friendly. Colour and brand photography has been used throughout, which together with extensive use of case studies brings the report to life.
The online report, launched simultaneously with the mailing of the printed version, uses flash within the introduction and makes use of a print basket facility enabling specific pages of interest to be logged and printed together, thus generating a customised report for users.
A dedicated CSR document was also produced in conjunction with the Annual Report project, which clearly links key messages and brings in design consistencies.
