Survival Guide to Rule 26 for AIM listed companies
Tuesday, July 17, 2007
Jones and Palmer are pleased to launch its essential guide for AIM listed companies. Following the launch of AIM in 1995, it has enjoyed remarkable success with more than 2,700 companies having listed in the last 12 years.
With success has come closer scrutiny and new rules requiring greater transparency. In particular, ‘Rule 26’ came into effect in February 2007 and requires all AIM companies to maintain an up to date corporate website with specific requirements for information and the way in which it is published. The site should belong to the AIM company, but may be hosted and managed by a third party.
From February 2007, all NEW AIM entrants had to comply. All EXISTING AIM companies have a period of grace until 20 August, when they too will have to comply.
